Muri\u00f3 la v\u00edspera de Navidad de 1898, tras sufrir un derrame cerebral mientras celebraba la misa -el altar fue, convenientemente, el \u00faltimo lugar en el que estuvo de pie.    <\/p><p class=\"p1\">No dej\u00f3 obras publicadas, ni cartas de instrucci\u00f3n teol\u00f3gica, ni diarios. Lo que dej\u00f3 fue una vida. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Y, sin embargo, se le han atribuido palabras. Transmitidas a trav\u00e9s de los monjes que le conocieron, a trav\u00e9s de la tradici\u00f3n maronita, a trav\u00e9s de familias libanesas que le han amado durante generaciones. Algunas de estas citas pueden rastrearse hasta fuentes cre\u00edbles dentro de la Orden.
